Grief Counseling in Phoenix, AZ
Grief Is Not a Problem to Solve — It's a Journey to Walk
Loss changes us. Whether you're grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or a life you imagined, I provide a compassionate space to process your pain and find your way forward.
What Is Grief Counseling?
Grief is a natural response to loss — but that doesn't make it easy. It can feel isolating, confusing, and all-consuming. Many people find that grief doesn't follow a predictable path, and that well-meaning advice like 'stay strong' or 'move on' only deepens the pain.
Grief counseling provides a safe, non-judgmental space to honor your loss, express what you're feeling, and work through the complex emotions that come with it — including sadness, anger, guilt, relief, and everything in between.
My approach to grief therapy is compassionate and client-led. I don't rush the process or push you toward 'acceptance.' Instead, I walk alongside you, helping you integrate your loss into your life in a way that allows you to carry it with more ease.

How I Support Grief
Helps you access, process, and make meaning of the deep emotions that accompany loss, fostering healing from the inside out.
Addresses unhelpful thought patterns — like self-blame or catastrophizing — that can complicate the grieving process.
Explores the different parts of yourself that are affected by loss, helping you develop self-compassion and inner resilience.
Particularly helpful when grief is complicated by traumatic elements, such as sudden or violent loss — ART can resolve the traumatic charge without requiring you to relive the experience.
